Alumni and Development

Welcome!

The goal of the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering Development Office is to inspire loyalty and pride among our alumni and friends by developing and enhancing their continued relationships with the Department.

CCEE alumni are a distinguished group and their ties to the Department remain strong long after graduation. Every graduation, twice a year, we have an alumnus speak about how his or her career has been measurably influenced and empowered by the time spent at State. Alumni continue to participate by sponsoring and attending events, recruiting and mentoring students, teaching and partnering with the department, serving on various boards, and providing financial support for critical initiatives.

Many alumni use their NC State connection to forge new business relationships, advertise their firms, hire new employees, find summer interns, seek career guidance, give back to the department, expose students to the practice of the profession, and reconnect to college life. We also have many alumni whose children, and children's children, come to NC State, knowing that we provide one of the best educations possible. We do a good job preparing our students for the workplace; and the alumni help us make sure that's true.

The motivation for financial contributions is to reinforce CCEE's long tradition of educational excellence by ensuring that we remain strong and vital for years to come. There are more than 9,000 CCEE alumni; many have shown their generosity and support over the years. We ask you to join them by supporting the Department.

There are many ways to give to the Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering. Whether an annual gift, an endowed gift, or a one-time gift, each gift will make a significant impact on current as well as future students and faculty at NC State University.
