As part of a public land-grant university, the CFL is always open to organizations and members of the general public. Guided tours are available upon request. A one week notice is appreciated whenever possible. Email cfl@ncsu.edu for more information.
Outreach:
The CFL can do 1-2 hour programs for K-12 students. The programs include an introduction to Civil Engineering, a brief activity related to structural engineering, and a tour of the lab. For more information email Lee Nelson.
Supporting CFL :
The CFL is training future engineering leaders and developing tomorrow's construction technology. In order to be successful and remain a premier research and testing lab, the CFL must maintain state of the art equipment and facilities. We can't do this alone and we depend heavily on a variety of resources contributed by businesses and individuals alike.
