As part of a public land-grant university, the CFL is always open to organizations and members of the general public. Guided tours are available upon request. Advance notice of at least one week is appreciated. Email cfl@ncsu.edu for more information.
Outreach:
The CFL can conduct short programs for K-12 students. The programs include an introduction to Civil Engineering, a brief activity related to structural engineering, and a tour of the lab. Please email for more information.
Supporting CFL :
The CFL is training future engineering leaders and developing tomorrow's construction technology. In order to be successful and remain a premier research and testing lab, the CFL must maintain state of the art equipment and facilities. We can't do this alone and we depend heavily on a variety of resources contributed by businesses and individuals alike.
