Transportation Materials Research Center
The Transportation Materials Research Center conducts research to advance the knowledge of transportation materials and pavements. This Center is administered by the College of Engineering at North Carolina State University through the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering. In addition to research, other goals of the Center include:
- Providing an educational program that produces highly qualified graduates who will significantlly add to the pool from which the industry must recruit for employees.
- Provide a means for strong interaction with industry and the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
- Serve the professional and scientific community with dissemination of knowledge through an effective technology transfer program.
