With extensive professional experience in telecommunications industry infrastructure design, construction and management in the U.S. and internationally, as well as in consulting engineering work in the residential and commercial construction fields, Mr. Nazario has taught part-time in the department since 2008. Beginning in January 2011, he joined the faculty as a full-time lecturer with interests in the fields of Structural Engineering and Mechanics and Construction Engineering and Management. He is licensed in the states of North Carolina and New York as a Professional Engineer, and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Mr. Nazario presently teaches undergraduate courses in mechanical and electrical systems in buildings, structural steel design, and the capstone course in structural engineering.
