Venue and Accommodations 

 

The ICLRS will be held at the Cooper Mountain Conference Center immediately following the 2008 Global Waste Symposium. The Conference Center is located in the heart of Colorado, 90 minutes west of the Denever on Interstate 70 and served by Denver International Airport, Colorado Springs Airport and Eagle/Vail County Airport.

Hotel Reservations

The most convenient rooms are located in the Copper Village which includes platinum, gold and silver properties located within walking distance of the Conference Center. Wireless internet access is FREE to Global Waste Management Symposium participants; however it is NOT available in all parts of Copper Mountain. If this is important to you, please be sure to inquire about this when calling to make your lodging reservations to be certain that you are placed in a unit which provides this serice. Free internet access is available at the Business Communications Center. You are encouraged to make housing reservations early as there are a variety of rooms at different prices and the most desirable rooms will go first. Business travelers accustomed to hotel lodging amenities consistent with most hotel chains should consider options in the Platinum level followed by the Gold level.

The Cirque, Copper Mountain's only platinum-rated property, is located in Union Creek. The Cirque provides its guests with year-round heated pools, hot tub, a large fire pit and commercial gas grill. Additional guest amenities include a state-of-the-art fitness room, a media room which includes a large screen television with a home theater system, a game room with television, a lounge area with a fireplace and a wet bar, convenient day-use lockers with boot dryers and changing rooms, and heated underground parking.

There are five gold level properties in the Copper Village offering one-, two- and three-bedroom condominums (Copper One, Tucker Mountain Lodge, Passage Point, Taylor's Crossing, and Mill Club). These units represent a fine level of accommodation and are strategically located throughout the Village allowing convenient access for participation in all of the Resort activities. You will enjoy a fitness room, outdoor spa and heated underground parking in the buildings. The condominium suites offer gas fireplaces, cable TV and full kitchens.

Silver quality lodging is available in the Center Village. These properties which include hotel rooms as well as one and two-bedroom condomiums, wrap around West Lake and include Mountain Plaza, Village Square and Westlake Lodge. These units are well-designed for comfort and aim to meet your every lodging need. Located mountain-side or within yards of our complimentary shuttle system, they remain some of our most valued guest units.
